For those of you using this site for the first time, here are some basic instructions on how to play the files I have made available.
- Download the latest version of CCCP here and install it on your computer.
- This gives you the ONLY way to play anime files the way they were meant to be played.
- Install Media Player Classic Homecinema and all other related codec files.
- Make this new player your default media player of choice for the .avi, .mkv, .ogm, and .mp4 filetypes.
- Contact me in ( Real Life, Facebook, or IRC ) for your FTP access.
- What you need to give me is your preferred account name and password.
- Wait for me to return to you with an account and FTP info.
- Access the FTP.
- Download the anime of your choice.
- Make sure whether or not the anime file uses the Ordered Chapters capability. If it does, download both the OP and ED or else you won’t get them when you’re watching.
- Wait for the download to finish.
- Double-Click the anime file to open it.
- Profit.
IMPORTANT NOTE: CCCP only supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Mac OS X is not supported since UNIX-based OS’s do not support DirectShow. We recommend that you use MPlayer OSX Extended. If you want to use the Quicktime player to play your files, support for some common formats is provided by Perian. Linux and BSD are not supported for their lack of DirectShow. Again, use of MPlayer is advised.
